Sorry, I can't sleep. I'm on my phone... which got me thinking about "phone people". There are people out there who, outside of their work computer, never use a laptop or desktop. Like, they just use their phone. That can't be healthy, right? idk, not trying to be too judgey but, at the same time, how could you not want the feeling of a normal OS that you can launch executables, and that you want and run scripts on when you want. You can do literal software magic and achieve all of your dreams with a laptop/desktop. I guess iPad only people with a keyboard/mouse setup are the weird exception, but it's not like you can run your own executables or scripts on those, which is insane to me. I'm a complete idiot, and scripts save me hours every month on just trivial nerd hobby shit. There isn't a good reason why an adult wouldn't want a fully powered computing device with normal windows/macos/linux/bsd/warpos or whatever the fuck.
Shit I forgot to say that I'm not judging anyone, even though I am but not like in a dick way but in a cool you should buy a used laptop and fuck around with actual OSes instead of jailed off shit. You've gotta make sure everyone in your life has a used business class ThinkPad. Or shit, Chromebooks are fine too. You can install Flash on it (even tho you shouldn't) and load it up with Homestar Runner SWFs. That's what a real computer should be able to do.
**termux doesn't count either, lol, even tho it kinda does and can launch x11 and wayland sessions and shit, but really, when I say "desktop OS" you know what I mean
