Mac People on Bear
It's weird how many people on this site are proud Mac users. I don't hate Macs. They work. They do their own locked down thing. But being a proud Mac users? That's wack.
They make you buy a Mac to use MacOS. Shit is completely tied to their hardware. The pros are that you won't run into issues with drivers for various pieces of hardware (unless you're going rouge with Hackintosh). The con, obvs, is that is leaves out all 3rd party hardware and makes you 100% dependent on Apple for your MacOS compatible hardware fix. That's not cool and probably bad for the planet.
Windows, as evil as it is, is very slutty in how open it is to obscure hardware. It's free love, bay-bay! Macs, on the other hand, are prudes. They only want you if you have the money and status to afford them. We won't talk about Linux and the BSDs of the world. They're honest Christian girls. The kind of operating systems you bring home to mama.
